5K COURSE MAP
Not sure a road race is for you? Wrong! Check out these "5 Weeks to a 5K" training plans:
You can complete a 5K. Period. Think about it: if your beloved dog got out, or if your pants were on fire and Bigfoot was chasing you with a chainsaw, or if it was the only way of getting out of doing the dishes, you'd get through it by sheer determination. Without training. But following a training plan will make it a LOT easier. I've included several so you can pick which one is the best fit for you (I know, whatever one looks easiest). Check them out, and feel free to crash Cross Country practice after school to train. Don't worry, I won't make you run with the kids. Grab a training partner, muster your courage, and register for the race! Remember: you CAN do this.
